RADIO KEROKRALL · ARTIST PORTRAIT 20
The Humble Bee
Tape, stillness and unhurried listening
The fragile memory of tape.

EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE
The fragile memory of tape.
Manchester musician Craig Tattersall records as The Humble Bee. On *A Miscellany for the Quiet Hours* (2009), tape loops, slight shifts and domestic sounds shape a quietly detailed world. Astral Industries reissued the debut on vinyl in 2021, bringing back a release first issued on Tattersall’s Cotton Goods label. Radio Kerokrall’s editorial reading follows the relationship between repetition, wear and close listening without making therapeutic claims about the music.
