1. Data controller

The data controller is Domenico Palmese, founder and artistic director of the independent Radio Kerokrall project. For personal-data requests: info@radiokerokrall.com.

2. Website data

The site uses no user accounts, advertising, analytics or profiling tools. Technical publishing systems may temporarily process IP address, request date and time, requested page, browser information and security logs, insofar as necessary to deliver and protect the site.

The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the website’s security, integrity and proper delivery. Technical logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and incident diagnosis, according to the hosting provider’s settings.

3. Newsletter: data and purposes

Only an email address is requested for subscription. Technical data strictly necessary to document the request, double opt-in confirmation, accepted notice version and any withdrawal is also retained.

Data will be used solely to send editorial updates about the Radio Kerokrall project, journal, website content and station launch. It will not be used for third-party advertising, profiling or incompatible purposes.

4. Legal basis and confirmation

The newsletter’s legal basis is the data subject’s freely given, specific, informed and withdrawable consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Providing data is optional and refusing consent does not limit access to the site.

Subscription becomes effective only after clicking the personal link sent by email. Unconfirmed addresses receive no newsletters and will be deleted or blocklisted within 30 days. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Retention and deletion

The address and consent evidence are retained until unsubscribing. After unsubscribing, the address is excluded from mailings; minimum information needed to demonstrate withdrawal may be retained to protect rights and prevent further unsolicited messages, within applicable limits.

6. Providers and recipients

Data may be processed by technical providers strictly necessary for the website and by Brevo as the newsletter management and delivery platform, under the applicable processing agreements. These parties act as processors or independent controllers for their respective activities. Data is not sold or made public.

The embedded form is delivered by Brevo; when the Newsletter page is opened, the browser establishes the technical connection with Brevo needed to display it. For more information, read Brevo’s privacy notice.

7. No open tracking

Radio Kerokrall does not intend to use invisible pixels to detect newsletter opens or tools that build individual reading profiles. Any strictly necessary technical statistics will be configured according to data minimisation and privacy by default.

Cookie

Radio Kerokrall does not install profiling or advertising cookies. The embedded form may use Brevo technical resources needed to display and secure the form and submit the request. This notice and, if necessary, the consent mechanism will be updated before any non-essential services are introduced.

8. Data-subject rights

Where provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter will include an unsubscribe link; requests may also be sent to the controller’s address.

9. Complaint

If you believe processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or seek a judicial remedy.

10. Changes

This notice may be updated when the service or processing arrangements change. Material changes affecting consent will be communicated clearly and, where necessary, will require renewed consent.
