Max Corbacho
The architecture of silence and space ambient
Silence as a living space.

EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE
Silence as a living space.
Born in 1966 in the province of Badajoz and raised within the rural landscape of Extremadura, Max Corbacho transformed star-filled skies, open horizons and natural silence into a distinctive sonic poetics. From electric guitar and local rock bands in the 1980s to synthesizers and electronic music, his path led to a tactile, organic form of space ambient: layered drones, slow harmonic movement and vast reverberation shape a contemplative space centred on presence, consciousness and creative independence.
