Fiona Joy Hawkins
The piano as a story of nature
Eighty-eight keys across memory and landscape.

EDITORIAL PERSPECTIVE
Eighty-eight keys across memory and landscape.
Fiona Joy Hawkins is an Australian classically trained pianist, composer and singer. Raised between Cessnock, Newcastle and Tamworth, she transformed the influence of Chopin and Mendelssohn into a contemporary language joining neoclassical music, New Age, Celtic roots and a jazz sensibility. Stuart & Sons pianos, high-resolution recording and a deep connection with the natural world define a catalogue carried from rural Australia to Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House, the Grammy Museum and concert halls across China.
